July 20 - Colorado Association of Career and Technical Education (CACTE) Conference presentation - 1-4 pm at The Embassy Suites Loveland August 5 - Dr. Janet Lopez has invited student members of HEAA to share their stories at her book release for: Undocumented Students and the Policies of Wasted Potential. Dr. Lopez has been active with HEAA for some time. 5:30-7 at the Museo de las Americas (861 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204) October 15 - Colorado Association of Bilingual Educators (CABE) Conference presentation at the Denver Marriot West Every year, thousands of students lose hope and drop out of high school because they can not afford to go on to higher education. That has a negative impact on our state and on our neighborhoods and schools. Explore our website to learn more about why higher access to ALL Colorado high school graduates is critical.
